Wellbeing and Mental Health
Feelings of wellbeing are fundamental to our overall health, enabling us to successfully overcome difficulties and achieve what we want out of life. Brooklands is taking the lead in this important area within schools and working towards the Wellbeing in Schools Award. For both children and staff, the award has a focus on changing the long-term culture of a school and embedding an ethos where mental health is regarded as the responsibility of all.
If you are experiencing mental health issues, are worried about someone you care for, or want to know how to stay mentally well, there are many ways the Emotional Wellbeing Gateway website can help you find information and support, or make a referral to access services. Click here for information.
The Emotional Wellbeing Hub provides information, advice, and guidance if you are concerned about the emotional wellbeing and mental health of a child or young person aged 0-25 years. Or if you are a young person who needs emotional wellbeing support. Click here for details.
